Just in CSK’s premiere middle-order Batsman Kedar Jadhav has been ruled out of the on-going IPL season due to a 2nd Grade Hamstring Injury which he sustained in the first game against Mumbai. Jadhav also won the newly introduced Nayi Soch Award for his painfull cameo which he played in the last over of the match to take his team over the line. This has come as huge blow to the Chennai based franchise who are still finding ample replacement for injured Mitchell Santner. The team management is yet to announce a replacement but it is likely that the they will wait for the mid-season transfer window to open before any further announcements. But it is learned that, David Willey will be joining the team as Santner’s replacement. Also, CSK is waiting for Faf Du Plessis to recover from his thumb injury.
