Nidahas Trophy: Final
What a great set up it is, 70th year of Srilankan Independence, 3 great rival teams and finally it has come down to two of the three teams, yes you heard it right, it is India to take on Bangladesh in the much anticipated Final clash of the Hero Nidahas Trophy. India qualified into the finals by beating Bangladesh twice and Srilanka once after losing out in the first game whereas Bangladesh qualified by beating Srilanka twice and they actually qualified by beating them with one ball to spare in the last match of the league stage which knocked the Hosts Srilanka out of the tournament and it was made possible by Mahmudullah’s six and some heated conversations. But overall India looks a better team both on field and paper but you cannot under-estimate the Bangla Tigers they have beaten India many times a-piece but not in a T20I Final. So, it will be interesting to see what they do. Also, not a big crowd is expected now for the final as hosts have been knocked out of the tournament but still a final is always a final, we hope that the people turn up in big numbers.
The pitch is expected to be low and slow with spinners getting some help from it.
