Ind Vs SA, 3rd ODI: Preview

After a one-sided game in Centurion, teams move to the drought hit Cape Town for the 3rd One-Dayer. With South Africa already on knees its time for India to conpletely over power them and the coming wednesday would be a great chance for the Virat Kohli led side to show more dominance. In the lead up to the third game, lets talk about the 2nd ODI, it was all about Virat’s decision to bowl first which paid off. The spin twins took the charge and ultimately ended up taking 8 wicket amongst them and Chahal took 5 for 22 in 8.2 overs with 1 maiden in it and South Africa was bundled out for mere 118 runs in 32.2 overs, India chased the score in 20.3 with a fifty from Shikhar Dhawan and a unbeaten 46 from Virat. Chahal was adjuged Man of the Match for his maiden five-fer.

Pitch and Ground Conditions:

The 3rd Momentum ODI will be played at Newlands, Cape Town. The pitch here usually helps the spinners more than the other pitches in South Africa and also due to drought in the area the pitch is expected to be a lot drier than usual. The last time when South Africa played here a ODI was exactly a year ago in which over 700 runs were made in two innings and Srilanka lost that game by 40 runs.
