Confirmed: KL.Rahul to replace Dhawan and Rohit to play ahead Rahane

With only a day before the second Test gets underway, India confirms there playing eleven with Dhawan being replaced by KL.Rahul and Ishant replacing Ashwin due to pacer friendly pitch in Centurion. On otherhand South Africa need to replace only injured Steyn, Duane Oliver and Nigidi are the two new inclusions for them but they will preferably go with Andle Phehlukwayo, a medium pace bowler.

Talking about India’s loss in first match it was a unfortunate one and batsman were to be blamed for that but India’s in-ability to curtail the South African tail was the main reason for a dominating target to chase but the only positive was Hardik Pandya’s 93 odd in first innings and 2 wickets in the second. Meanwhile South Africa played tremendous cricket on the back of a 6-fer from Philander in 2nd innings and AB’s resistance also impacted the output of the match.

Pitch and Ground Conditions:

The pitch is expected to be a traditional bouncy and pacer friendly one with weather to remain good for first 3 days and day 4 and 5 might see some showers.

Rohit is confirmed to take field ahead Rahane and Ishant will take Ashwin’s position with KL.Rahul to replace Dhawan, the rest of the team reamins same. It will be first time India will be playing with five pacers including Hardik Pandya.
