Ind vs Sri, 3rd T-20: Preview

After a record breaking match last night, one team looks to finish the year on a high and other looks to gain some respect before the year ends. With already having won the series India will aim for another Srilankan whitewash and Srilanka will look to resist it. Both the teams as far as the performance is concerned cannot be compared and adding to Srilanka’s woes they have lost Mathews to a hamstring injury again and which might prove disastrous for them. Talking about the match, it was Rohit who led the charge on a flat track and pushed India to 260 with a joint fastest T-20 century and also became the first Indian to score 2 centuries in International T-20’s. Rahul, Dhoni boyh played important cameos but the pick of the match was again Chahal who took 4 wickets which eventually led to a Srilankan collapse and hence India winning the match and series comprehensively.

Pitch and Ground Conditions:

The match will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and a traditional flat surface is expected and dew is also expected to play it’s part in the game.



India might look to bring in Basil Thampi and give him a debut as they have criticized by many commentators for being too defensive and Dinesh Karthik might lose his place.
