Ind vs Nz, 3rd ODI: Preview

Bhuvi after taking a wicket in 2nd Ind vs Nz ODI

After bouncing back succesfully India eye a series win with familiar conditions and New Zealand seek a good performance to win their first Bilateral series in India. Coming onto previous match, India was invincible as the decision by Kiwi skipper Williamson went horribly wrong as Indian pacers took quick wickets in thes start, thus ratteling Kiwis badly and reducing them to a score of over 230. Bhuvneshwar took 3 wickets and was adjuged Man of the Match for his brilliant performance. Shikhar and Dinesh struck fifties in the chase and took India over the line. The three wickets which Bhuvneshwar took were of Guptill, Munro, Nicholls. Coming onto the 3rd ODI , the game is evenly poised and looks to be promising, both teams would like to win the toss and put runs on the board. When last time these two teams met in the decider of 2016 NZ tour of India ODI series, the former flattered against the leg spin of Mishra and they were bowled out around 80 or so while chasing down.

The pitch here is batsman friendly but as the game goes on becomes spinner friendly. The ground is not so big but is one of the iconic one. Also the outfield is slow and low due to nature of soil available here.
