Ind vs Aus 3rd T-20: Preview

After a disappointing show in Guwahati, India will look to every possible way out for winning the series. The Australians on other hand are relaxed and confident as many Austalian players, play for Hyderabad in IPL, so they know the ground and conditions and the Australian bowlers are geared up for another battle against rusty Indian batting. But Indian’s have a fair amount of experience playing here and they will look to include Ashish Nehra as he  is the most experienced player in the squad right now, on otherhand Aussies will go with the same eleven, until or unless their is a injury.

Moises Henriques and MS.Dhoni during the 2nd T-20

Coming on to the previous game, India lost the toss and Australia chose to bowl and took wickets up-front and ratteled India and in 20 overs they scored 118 all-out. Aussies too lost 2 wickets at 13 but fifty by Henriques ensured a Australian win and he was awarded the Man of the Match, also Jason Behrendroff took 4 wickets and earned award of Bankable Player of the Match.

Ground Conditions and Pitch:

The Stadium has a capacity of holding 55,000 spectators and is considered as a big ground but hitting has been easy here over the years because of pitch. Till the date it has hosted two T-20’s. The Pitch here is a bit Flat and slows down as the game goes on, which tells that spinners will be crucial here for the play. So, Toss will be important here, i.e. win the toss bat first.

India will be looking to drop Manish Pandey and bring in Nehra to field 5 specialist bowlers and Axar Patel can be included in place of Kuldeep who was hit badly all over the ground in previous game by Aussies.

Likely XI

Rohit, Dhawan, Virat(C), Jadhav, Ms.Dhoni(Wk), H.Pandya, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar, Bumrah, A.Nehra, Chahal

No changes are expected from Australians.

Likely XI

Warner(C), Finch, Henriques, Head, Stoinis, Paine(Wk), Maxwell, Zampa, Couler-Nile, Jason Behrendroff, Andrew Tye
