ODI and T-20 team for Ind tour of Sri

Indian squad for the remaining tour of Srilanka has been announced and as many as 7 changes have been made with some big players rested and some players being left out. The players which have been rested are Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami, Umesh. These players have been rested due to exceesive workload as both Jadeja and Ashwin have bowled more than 105 overs in first two test, with Shami coming from injury lay-off has been rested to monitor his rehab again, also Umesh being a constant member from the beginning of the year in every format so he has been rested. With long home season ahead and approx 11 ODI’s and 9 T-20’s to be played by India in just three and a half months it is important to keep big players rested. The 2 players which have been dropped are Yuvraj and Dinesh Kartik, with inconsistency from Yuvraj it is unlikely that he will feature in further matches for team India but might get a farewell match soon. On other hand inability to prove the skills have led to Kartik being dropped.
