Ind vs WI, 5th ODI: Preview

After a loss in the 4th ODI, India will look to win the final match to gain their momentum back ahead of the lone T-20 and the Srilanka tour beginning in end of July where as West Indies will look to draw the series. Despite two half centuries in the previous match India lost by 11 runs, with Shikhar, Virat and Dinesh Kartik failing to prove themselves and Yuvraj still in doubt after a hamstring injury, it is expected that Rishabh Pant will finally debut in the Final match of the series. Also, India will look to bring Bhuvneshwar Kumar back in the side to give Umesh some rest, with Jadeja and Shami to complete the bowling attack, India look more balanced than the last match.

On other side West Indies look confident after win the last match with Jason Holder taking a five-fer which derailed Indian line-up, with Kyle Hopes and Shai Hopes, both in good form, West Indies will hardly make any changes. The team look more balanced than the line-ups we have seen in last 2 years, with Chris Gayle back in the T-20 squad, players will be happy to have their power-pack opener back in the side. It looks unlikely that Windies will make any changes to their winning combination. Also, Kesrick Williams impressed everyone with his death bowling ability as he adds a good balance to the Windies team, he bowled most of his overs in the last 15 and completed his spell with figures of 29 for 1 in 10 overs with a economy of 2.90, his only wicket in the match was of former Indian Captain MS.Dhoni.

The match will be played at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The stadium is surrounded by mountains and has a capacity of around 20,000 with the pitch is expected to fast bowler friendly, it looks hard for batsman to score runs here. Despite some rumors that pitch has slowed down it is expected to a low scoring game. The ground has a average 1st Innings score of 234 and a average 2nd Innings score of 200, so from my point of view win the toss and bat first. Also, the lone T-20 between West Indies and India will be played at the same venue.
